Toilet Training
Our toilet training program is individualized and adapted from the guidelines set by Foxx & Azrin which focuses on teaching children to independently initiate when needing to void.
Pre-requisites skills such as being able to transition to the bathroom, pulling up and down pants and sit on the toilet along with washing hands are worked on prior to the start of a child’s toileting program.
Our clinicians work with caregivers to develop a program which allows for generalization to occur in the home and community setting with continued independence of toileting routine such as night and bowel training.
Feeding Skills
In collaboration with your child’s SLP, OT or other medical professional, we can help develop and support specific feeding programs to help your child increase their skills.
These skills can include increasing food variety based on texture, taste or specific food types, using straws or cups, swallowing or chewing difficulties and independent eating skills/utensil use.
