School Based Services
Our RBTs & BCBAs work together with school staff in settings such as preschool, daycare and Montessorsi to help support your child’s communication and social needs. Rather than removing the child from learning opportunities, we work to help them participate more successfully within the classroom activities to build skills such as following classroom instructions, transitioning between activities and spaces, using communication to initiate and respond to social interactions with peers and independent adaptive skills like meal or toileting routines.
Consulting Services
Clinicians at Itsy Bitsy Therapy can provide consultation services to other providers or schools as a resource or for training purposes within your organization. These services can include further staff or community training, development of special education programs or conducting assessments for further evaluation. Caregiver Training
Caregivers play a critical role in a child’s life and therefor are instrumental in the progress of skills learned in the clinic setting. Our clinicians work on collaborating with caregivers to generalize learned skills as well as teach new skills needed in different settings. Caregiver training is done in the clinic, home or community setting on a weekly, bi-weekly or monthly basis to help support in areas which will help your family in everyday life.
